ABOUT

My appreciation for all things love, design, and beauty began on a soccer field as a little boy in rural southern Illinois.   

Instead of kicking a ball back and forth, I would wander off on dandelion picking adventures creating beautifully crafted flower crowns and floral arrangements.  You can imagine the smile on my coach’s face when I decided to forgo a career in soccer.  

From my dandelion curiosity, I focused my creative and slightly-rebellious passion into music where I excelled; eventually majoring in music at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.  It was through music I experienced love for the first time.  I learned that love comes in all forms.  

After college, I moved to Los Angeles on a whim to pursue a career in the music industry and landed a position at DreamWorks Studios in the music department.  I was challenged to stay current with trends and was taught the importance of details. I had to think less creatively and more strategically. 

But there was something missing in my life, my creative side was not being satisfied.   I wanted more. Making a bold career change, I went back to my creative roots and earned a degree in interior architecture at Santa Monica College.  In design, I learned how to visualize, conceptualize, and execute fantasies in form of interior spaces. 

I combined all of my life experiences as well as the passion I have for all things love, design, and beauty into a single business - Blissful Nuptials. My goal is to offer that timeless and elegant backdrop to one of your most treasured days.

I’m a small town boy with a big imagination and the creativity to bring magical experiences to life.  And while I never succeeded on that soccer field, I know that creating memorable experiences and spaces is my field, where dandelions grow freely.
